Taisei Juku is for school-aged children and acts like a tutoring center. We teach and support children with individual attention and respect to their own learning styles, unlike big classrooms and lecture style environments. We develop curriculum according to the desire and needs of parents and children.
Our facility is good for these types of situations:
- My child has excellent scores and grades. Because of people’s expectations, s/he cannot ask questions when s/he has problems. Once struggling with hard questions, it takes forever. I would like to find someone who can support my child to learn more effectively.
- Both parents have full time jobs, so there is almost no time to help with homework at home. We are looking for someone who can provide support and help in coping with homework.
- Our home is in Japan, and we will go back to Japan in a few years. I would like to prepare my child for school exams in Japan.
- I am worried about my child who needs to catch up with the Japanese curriculum for all subject areas as well as with the local school curriculum.
- Our son/daughter goes to Saturday Japanese school, and it is getting harder for him/her to finish homework and get good test scores. Once they memorize kanji for a test, s/he seems to forget them after the test. I would like my child to enjoy learning and to try to improve their grades at the school.
- I myself speak Japanese and English. I naturally start speaking English although I want to teach my own child Japanese. I am looking for a place which helps my child become eager to learn Japanese and to speak with me in Japanese.
- When my child was little, I harshly taught Japanese. Every time I try to teach Japanese, my child looks sad and worries. I would like my child to want to continue learning Japanese with thrill and enjoyment as a part of her/his nationality.
- We are looking for a place to teach my child to learn Japanese very well. Although nobody speaks Japanese at home, my child is excited to learn Japanese.
